5th anniversary of Expogrow Irun

The new edition of the Basque-French fair looks as promising as ever; on one hand, the evolution of the fair during the past years speaks for itself, while on the other hand the number of activities, booths and speakers present makes of it one of Europe's main cannabis events, in which good vibes, knowledge and fun are shared among all participants...and especially this year, that we celebrate its fifth anniversary!

They want to demonstrate that they know what they do, that they feel passion for cannabis. One more year, this fair is prepared to offer you all the innovations on the cannabis industry for the coming season.

Full of surprises, a festive atmosphere welcomes 150-200 companies in its more than 5000 m2 for exhibitors, with 800 professionals providing assistance to the visitors about their new products. Expogrow wants to keep on demostrating its importance in the marijuana sector, and we're sure these guys won't disappoint us.

This major event will be held on September 16th, 17th and 18th, in the Ficoba fairground, Irún (Basque Country). Do not hesitate and set aside these dates on your calendar!

V Social and International Cannabis Forum

This new edition of the renowned SICF will be especially focused on medicinal cannabis. The current status of marijuana around the world will also be discussed, without forgetting the political issues in regard with normalization.

Thus, and thanks to the efforts and help provided by the sponsors of the event - Alchimia Solidaria, Canna, Foundation Renovatio and the Expogrow crew - we can all enjoy the speeches of internationally renowned specialists on the subject..

One of the conferences will be carried out by the Spanish Observatory of Medicinal Cannabis. They will speak about responsible regulation and the use of medical marijuana on a global scale, especially in the USA.

Ana Maria Gazmuri, expert in drug policies from Chile and prime mover of the Daya Foundation will be there to share her thoughts. This organization is focused on the investigation and promotion of natural medicines, and became famous for growing the biggest therapeutic cannabis crop in South-America.

On the other hand, Nuria Calzada will also be present, a psychologist and state coordinator of Energy Control. She has been involved on different studies about drugs and is an experienced trainer of health professionals.

We will also welcome Zara Snapp from Mexico - expert in drug policies and its consequences on a global scale, and writer of the book "Dictionary of Drugs" - as well as Raúl Elizalde, president of the Civil Association "Por Grace". This group was formed after his daughter Grace was the first patient of the country being treated with Cannabidiol.

All the speeches will be held on the 16th and 17th of September in the auditorium of the Ficoba fairground.

Like every year, it?s possible to attend the Forum with the ticket to the fair.

2016 Music Festival and Expogrow activities

Along with the expo itself and the Forum, the live music concerts and activities held during the weekend are undoubtedly the third axis of this event, with an outdoor area of more than 7.000 m2.

On this occasion, the artistic touch will be brought by El Langui, Tomasito and Muchachito Bombo Inferno, among other artists that are still to be confirmed.

We'll also have games, a Basque rural sport contest, stands to eat and drink something and a lot of good vibes and marijuana, that's for sure!

2016 Expogrow Cannabis Cup

Once again, this fantastic expo will also host the V Expogrow Cannabis Cup, an event in which all professionals of the sector - seed banks, grow shops... - can compete with their entries. Most seed companies take this opportunity to present their new strains, so do not miss it!

The competition will have the following categories: Sativa, Indica and Autoflowering, as well as Cannabis Extractions with and without solvent. The jury will be composed by the same participants of the cup.

We'll also have awards for the best stand, best seed bank, best growing product, best fertilizer and best paraphernalia product. The best activist of the year - both national and international - will also be named.
