The Detroit 2 Round Beetroot has a globe like morphology and a dark red color, its flesh is compact, very nutritious and with great flavour. It is one of the vegetables that contains the most sugars, but on the contrary it has a low caloric intake due to its high fibre content .

Detroit Round Beet 2 can be grown all year-round, but performs best in spring and summer. It is sown directly by broadcast or in rows. Once germinated, they should be thinned out, leaving distances of 20 cm between plants. After 90 days we can start harvesting them.
