Oldtimer's Haze is a tropical sativa hybid which combines genetics from Mexico, Colombia, India and Thailand.

This strain grows tall and leafy, with average internodal spacing. You'll find both the "Purple Haze" and "Green Haze" phenotypes. A true gift for lovers of the old Sativas of the 70s.

The aroma is reminiscent of old Sativas, with earthy, incense and noble wood notes. The Green Haze pheno smells more fruity (like ripe tropical fruits), while the Purple Haze pheno smells like liquorice and liquor.

The effect is intense and cerebral, highly stimulating. Its high THC content induces a very long lasting effect that gets you higher and higher with each puff.

Oldtimers Haze is better suitedfor tropical or subtropical climates (latitudes between 20º-35º). It also performs well in greenhouses, although indoor cultivation is only recommended to keep a mother plant, to make seeds or for true fans of extreme Sativas.

I live a little south of Mexico City at 19 latitude and 5000 feet. Temp 55F to 85F year round. I am growing outdoors now but I am thinking of starting indoors and then moving outdoors to flower. My Sativas flower really early. I only get 7 to 8 hours of direct sun. In the rainy season mid June to October growing outdoors is a problem. I’m thinking of getting a small green house or covering them some how. Otherwise I need to harvest before June. Do you have a sugestion of Sativa for my area and how best to grow it. I’m going to San Francisco next week to buy product you can’t get down here. Don’t know if you ship to Mexico. Thanks June. Which type

Hi Jill,

Yes, we do ship seeds to Mexico!

I'd recommend you to build that small greenhouse. Basically, you only need a transparent roof for your plants, you don't need the sidewalls.

Still, I recommend you to take a look at our list of strains resistant to moulds to make sure you won't have problems during the rainy season. As you'll see, you have plenty of Sativas on that list.

Best!
