Textile Pots sont perfect that optimises the root system when compared to conventional plastic pots. Alchipot pots are designed with a special porous fabric that allows oxygen to reach the root system more easily.
The roots colonise the pot substrate, whilst the capillarity is expanded thanks to a natural root pruning applied to the root tips as they burn when they come into contact with the air. This causes the root capillaries to multiply for better nutrient absorption simply by changing pots.
In outdoor cultivation, many growers initiate the plant in a pot and then transplant it to open ground. If the plant is in a large pot, it can be difficult to transplant without causing severe stress that causes growth to stop. This problem does not occur with Alchipot pots.
Alchipots make it unnecessary to remove the plant from the pot for transplanting. Simply bury half of the fabric pot in open ground, so that the roots of the lower section pass through the fabric pot's fibres and continue to grow directly into the open ground. This certainly offers a much more vigorous growth and flowering.
