Birthday Runtz ancestors
On the one hand, Runtz, one of the latest remarkable wonders on the US cannabis market. An exceptional plant that has entered with great force both in cannabis dispensaries and in the seeds market. It is a cross between Zkittlez and Gelato33, a remarkable variety for its incredible resin layer that emanates aromas and flavours reminiscent of sugary tropical jellybeans accompanied by a cheerful effect with long-lasting euphoric touches.
On the other hand, Birthday Cake, a Wedding Cake sibling. Both strains are very popular and reputed for their vanilla cake flavour. Birthday Cake offers a better yield than Wedding Cake, increasing the plant's production while maintaining the great trichomes load it produces during the flowering period.
Birthday Runtz cultivation
Birthday Runtz grows vigorously both indoors and outdoors. It adapts well to pruning and tying. Using the topping method results in a ramified plant with a multitude of branches that grow evenly. The branches are filled with large and heavy buds during the flowering period.
It adapts well to cultivation in both conventional methods such as soil and hydroponic systems where its vigour is even more pronounced. In outdoor cultivation, it becomes a large plant with a high bud production in its flowering period.
It has a flowering period of about 9 weeks, producing a large resin load that overflows all over the buds, from those growing on the lower part of the plant to those at the main tip. It produces large, compact and very scented flowers, which makes it essential to use anti-odour systems such as carbon filters or other solutions like the Neutralizer. In outdoor cultivation, the harvest is ready in October, offering high yields of more than 700g per plant.
It delivers powerful and elegant aromas and flavours, with fruity, tropical, sour berry notes with a sweet creamy vanilla cake flavour. Certainly, this is a real feast for the taste buds.
