Alchimia presents Coco Pure Perlite by U-Gro, a substrate intended for cannabis cultivation. It is composed of 70% medium sized coconut fibre, where 30% perlite is incorporated, which further increases the excellent qualities of the coconut fibre as a substrate.
The medium sized fibre provides good water retention and proper oxygenation. With the extra perlite, the substrate becomes more aerated, maintaining better hydration. It provides balance to the growing medium with the roots in full power with an excellent radicular mass.

Coco Pure Perlite by U-Gro is perfectly washed with fresh water, so that salt residues do not interfere with the plant's roots. The substrate has been stabilised and buffered with a ph of between 5.5 and 6.8 with a low EC below 0.5 mS/cm with a water retention of 900%. It is presented in a 50L format and weighs between 13.7-14.5 kg.
It should be noted that the coconut fibre contains natural trichoderms that help the plant's roots to absorb more water and nutrients, which results in better performance of the cultivation. It also acts as a protective shield against fungi that attack the roots and consequently affect the plant. It certainly provides greater security against the pathogenic attack.
Coco Pure Perlite can be used both indoors and outdoors. It can be used alone or mixed with other substrates such as soil that can provide more sponginess. It is ideal for short and seasonal cycles.
