Autumn salad leaves, fast and productive
This endive chicory variety is ideal for growing in late summer, with the sowing period from August to October. It is very resistant to heat and drought and can quickly develop with no problems.
It is a voluminous plant, being necessary to space the plants well (30-40cm) so that it develops well. The leaves may be prepared to optimize their whitening.
White leaf salad
This curly endive Pancalieri variety produces leaves that are well whitened, ensuring a sweet taste and easy digestion. The chlorophyll degradation process can be enhanced by tying or covering the plants.
After 2-3 weeks of maturation and whitening, a soft and crunchy plant is ready to harvest. It is ideal as a salad or cooked on the grill.
