Deadhead's mother is the legendary Chemdawg '91, that in turn has been the parent of many highly appreciated genetics like Og Kush, Sour Diesel and many more. The male parent used in this cross is a Tahoe Og Kush, outstanding for its powerful effect and lemony taste.
It has a very vigorous growth, long stems, little side branching with large, dark leaves. It is very suitable for SOG crops, although it can be also be grown using the SCROG technique.
During flowering it develops very compact, top quality buds. Deadhead OG creates a huge layer of resin that covers all its flowers and every leaf surrounding the buds, what makes it a very good choice for high quality resin extractions.
Indoors, it is ready to harvest in 8 weeks with a production of 400-450 gr/m2. Outdoors is harvested in late October with a bloom of 500 gr per plant.
Its smell and taste are lemony with a Kush base, accompained by a skunk aftertaste.
