Erdpurt - Classic Afghani with high CBD
Created for outdoor cultivation in the cold & wet climates of Northern Europe, Erdpurt is a hybrid of two purple Afghani lines: Erdbeer (meaning Strawberry in German) and Purpurea Ticinensis, both of which were developed outdoors in Switzerland, and their high resistance to harsh weather has been passed on to Erdpurt.
After its initial development over many generations in Denmark, the Erdpurt line has been further worked and stabilised for several years by the breeding team at ACE Seeds, retaining the best qualities of the original while improving the quality, reliability and adaptability. Not only does Erdpurt flourish outdoors in cold climates where other Indicas would fail, but it also does very well when cultivated indoors.
A tough Indica for tough situations
Erdpurt grows with typically Afghan structure: columnar with very little branching, thick, sturdy stems, and large, wide leaves. Its stocky build and low stature mean it can withstand high winds without breaking orfalling over. It is highly resistant to the cold and has good resistance to pests and mould, although the flowers can sometimes become so dense that they fall prey to botrytis. Using a good organic fungicide is recommended in high-humidity situations.
It's an ideal variety for a SOG (Sea of Green) grow or it can be given a long growth period to maximise yields, in which case it is recommended to use pruning and training techniques to create a more bushy structure. Erdpurt flowers very quickly and is ready to harvest outdoors between late August and early September, or after 7-8 weeks indoors, producing medium yields.
Erdpurt - Fruity & earthy with notes of hash and a medicinal effect
The terpene profile of Erdpurt is complex and intense, reminiscent of freshly roasted coffee, blackberry pie and strawberries, with touches of moist earth and fine hashish. The high is moderately potent, with a relaxing and creative effect. Erdpurt is highly suitable for medicinal use, thanks to its considerable CBD content.
