Face protection mask FFP2 (European denomination), N95 (American denomination) or KN95 (Asian denomination). It is a protection element against pathogens, both for the human being and for the different elements with which we interact. They are especially effective in preventing infections from bacteria or viruses such as Coronavirus. They are also very effective in filtering pollen in a marijuana cultivation or during the female pollination stage when making marijuana seeds.
It is an essential element in the magic mushrooms cultivation, especially during the first cultivation stage since any external element such as other fungi can radically contaminate our mushroom bread to the point of making it unusable. It is important to protect our hands also with vinyl or latex gloves during the processes of spores dispersion or any manipulation of a hallucinogenic mushroom bread.
The FFP2/KN95 masks serve both as a filter from the outside towards our nostrils and mouth (preventing us from being infected) when inhaling, and the other way round, protecting the elements around us from possible contamination by us when sneezing, talking or simply breathing. It is a bidirectional protection.
The health authorities recommend using the FFP2 mask in situations of pathogens high risk. This mask is recommended for single use, however if the mask is in perfect condition, it could be reused by disinfecting both sides with an alcohol or disinfectant solution.
FFP2 masks are made of 5 cellulose layers with a 95% filtering capacity, thus protection is very effective.
Fitted with two elastic bands to adjust the mask in the ears, a protective foam inside for the nose, as well as a metal rod to adjust the mask on the outer side.
