Headband and Wedding Cake, Head Cake ancestors
On the one hand, Headband aka Daywrecker Diesel, an US cannabis legend named for the powerful effect that gives the feeling of having a bandage on the head due to the pressure it causes on the forehead blood vessels, as a result of its high THC levels.
On the other hand Wedding Cake, developed by Seed Junky seed bank. This strain is widely used in the development of new cannabis varieties thanks to its great flavour and potency inherited from their direct ancestors Triangle Kush and Animal Mints.
Head Cake cultivation
Head Cake is a plant not presenting many difficulties in its cultivation, a balanced nutrition and adequate environmental conditions are enough for its full power development.
The plant can be managed by pruning and tying, enhancing ramification by methods such as SCROG. With no apical pruning, the SOG cultivation method can be used with small plants and low pruning.
Cultivated outdoors the plant can reach a good size, offering a high yield of up to 700g per plant. A production of medium size, highly resinous and very compact buds that release a powerful and delicious aroma.
In indoor cultivation it has a flowering period of about 8-9 weeks, with a high flower yield of up to 500-600g per m2. It is highly recommended to use anti-odour systems such as carbon filters or others like neutralizer in order to avoid problems caused by the powerful smell.
It offers a remarkable flavour containing a mixture of its ancestors where the cookies family has a great presence, accompanied by petrol touches and sour notes.
