Mondo Mexican spores vial

These vials are sealed with a "septum", a thin rubber membrane that acts as a sterile opening facilitating the extraction of spores. This ensures that the rest of the content is kept free of contamination for future use.

If we use the spores to inoculate a vial of Mycomate culture liquid, we will create a reserve of mycelium in constant development, which avoids us having to germinate spores each time we want to prepare a mushroom loaf.

This is possible because Mycomate is a nutritive solution that promotes spore germination and mycelium formation, helping to accelerate the process.

The vial contains 10ml suspended spores of Psilocybe Mexican disolved in water, ready to inoculate several portions of culture substrate.

The Psilocybe Mexican (Pajaritos) stand out for producing an enormous amount of small intense brown mushrooms forming a multitude of clusters that cover completely the culture substrate.

These mushroom also produce a certain amount of "Sclerotia", the truffles or "Philosopher's stones", of potency somewhat higher than the Psilocybe Cubensis.

It is important to shake the vial vigorously before extracting the spores, also using a wipe moistened with isopropyl alcohol sterilise the syringe and the “septum” to prevent contamination.
