Vortex from Subcool's The Dank is a cross of Apollo 13 x Space Queen, notable for it's vigorous bushy growth along with a strong, energising sativa high and sweet & sour lemon mango candy flavour.
Born from Subcool's desire to have the legendary clone-only strain Apollo 13 in seed form, Vortex is a sativa-dominant hybrid with a strong Cinderella 99 heritage and a taste so similar to Apollo 13 that in a blind smoke test it can be hard to tell the difference between the two.
Easier to grow than Apollo 13, it can be cultivated indoors, outdoors or in greenhouses. indoors, it's recommended to give a short growth period of 2-3 weeks before beginning flowering to allow for stretch during bloom.
Alternately grow with a longer vegetative period and train using the SCROG (Screen of Green) method to keep height down indoors and to produce a wide bush with plenty of bud sites that will need supporting during flower.
