Zambia owes its preservation to the African Seeds seed bank, now defunct, which selected and reproduced it after it is imported from Zambia, where cannabis Sativa genetics are heavily cultivated in the plains known as the copper belt.
The Tropical Seeds Company was fortunate to work with these African seeds, therefore, not wishing see this cannabis landrace strain disappear, is able to offer it to the public today.
With phenotypic diversity maintained during selections, Zambia may be more compact than other plants, although most will be made up of large individuals, and in all cases the branches are strong and well developed.
Thanks to its strong vegetative vigour, Zambia reacts very well to different pruning techniques, and adapts well to growing in SCROG where it easily expresses its enormous productive potential, where it can offer from 600 to 1000 g per plant outdoors.
Flowering lasts 70 to 90 days depending on the plant and climate conditions, and it can be noted that in this respect, it will have a good resistance to the cool of Europe compared to most African sativas like Malawi for example.
The cannabicultor's patience will be richly rewarded after a few weeks of ripening harvest , crystallized flowers from Zambia give off a delicious exotic, spicy and woody aroma accompanied by a stimulating, clear and uplifting Sativa effect.
