Hi CJ, thanks for your question. Making your own seeds is relatively easy and can be very rewarding. You just need to have a clear idea of what kind of plant you want to end up with and then select the male and female plants that properly express those desirable traits in their offspring. I would suggest studying plant genetics, which will give you a good idea of how things like dominant and recessive traits work.
