The Steril Tube Ozonizer, from King Ozono, is a tubular ozone generator, specially designed to disinfect and deodorise extraction air ducts, completely neutralising and eliminating odors, microorganisms and fungal spores.
The unit is very easy to install, simply fit the Steril Tube in line after the extractor fan, being sure to leave at least 2-3m of tube between the ozonator unit and the outside air exit - the more tube we leave, the better the results will be.
By fitting a Steril Tube ozonator, we're leaving the charcoal filter to only filter out solid particles (dust etc.), drastically reducing it's workload, and as a result it lasts longer before needing replacement.
If regularly cleaned and maintained, the Steril Tube has a very long life, making it a very sound investment over time. To properly care for it, just make sure to clean the lamps at least after every harvest, or every six months using a soft cloth, water and gentle soap. In this way we avoid any build up of dirt that may inhibit performance and invalidate the guarantee. The unit is designed for quick disassembly and easy access for cleaning and maintenance.
Another possible factor that could affect the unit negatively is transient voltage, or power surges, a problem that can be easily avoided by using a power strip with surge protector or an electrical stabilizer if the wiring in the grow room's electrical installation is old.

Keep in mind that breathing ozone can damage your respiratory system. We recommend to evacuate the air to the outside and turn off the ozonizer whenever you switch off the extractor fan. The manufacturer recommends to use a voltage surge protector.
