This is achieved thanks to the units design, with an inner hexagonal perimeter slightly larger than that of peat blocks (similar to jiffy). These are cylindrical with dimensions of 21mm x 35mm, obtaining much more aeration.
This extra aeration acts as a roots booster, as they develop faster when there is more air available. It also produces an aerial pruning effect when these reach the unit block limit, ramifying much more.

The blocks have a stable pH of 5.7 (+/- 0.2) and an EC of 0.8 (+/- 0.2). It is essential to water them with osmotic or rain water so as not to affect these properties. It is also recommended to compact the soil well when transplanting the plant and not to nail the stakes to the block so as not to damage the roots.
