Purple Honduras Haze, a 100% Sativa F1 hybrid
Purple Honduras Haze is a Green Honduras Haze variant by ACE Seeds, combining a Honduran landrace strain with Purple Haze #23, resulting in taller plants with beautiful purple colours.
Since it is a very exotic marijuana variety, it requires a high light intensity when grown indoors where it can provide very good results for experienced growers, while outdoors in tropical areas it can fully express its potential in terms of yield and psychoactivity.
Purple Honduras Haze develops with a slender and ramified structure, with long, very thin and flexible branches. It easily withstanding inclement weather making this strain a good choice for SCROG cultivation. Purple Honduras Haze has a flowering period of about 14-18 weeks indoors, forming new flowers continuously and producing large flowers clusters at harvest time.
Outdoors it is ready to harvest in December and can be grown between 0º and 40º latitude, in a greenhouse if winter temperatures are too cold for an optimal harvests maturation. A hardy strain, Purple Honduras Haze is very resistant to heat, botrytis and downy mildew, and moderately resistant to spider mites and cold.
It has limited fertiliser needs; a well-prepared soil is sufficient and preferable to liquid nutrients for a lighter and more gradual nourishment, although a PK supplement may be useful during its peak flowering period.
Purple Honduras Haze harvest, woody flavour and electric high
Purple Honduras Haze's terpenes profile is dominated by beta-myrcene, with lower alpha-pinene and beta-caryophyllene concentrations. This results in a woody and spicy sandalwood flavour with garlic, sage, incense and red fruit notes on a fruity mango-like background.
Its effect is perfectly representative of pure Sativa lines, with a clear and stimulating effect, favouring deliberation and introspection. This energetic effect has a medium duration, finishes discreetly, and leaves no sensation of heaviness or tiredness.
