Kiwi Seeds and Alchimia present here the hybrid strain Ray's Choice, a 85% Sativa - 15% Indica cross that oozes sticky resin glands and offers tremendous fruity flavors, being harvested after 60-70 days of flowering.
This marijuana variety was originated in 1987, when a really good grower and friend of the bank returned from California with Afghani indica marijuana seeds that had been stabilized in the region.
So, when he started testing these seeds they were the first Indica strains in New Zealand, starting a high quality range of hybrid from which Ray's Choice comes.
He crossed them with the best and most sticky sativas he had, getting a F1 generation where he find this variety, which grows strong and fast, with sativa structure. It adapts well to both hot and temperate climates.
The blooming phase lasts only 60-70 days, developing large and thick tails with thick calyxes in their flowers, and producing a lot of bright white resin that becomes very sticky once the buds are dried.
Ray's Choice's aroma is sweet, fruity and mellow, and its effect is uplifting and cerebral, quite psychedelic, but slightly relaxing.
