Sativa genetics - which come from tropical or equatorial areas - are very different from Indica varieties, which are native from the valleys on the slopes of the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan and neighboring countries.
These two families have been crossed since the 70s, obtaining hybrids with different proportions of Sativa or Indica genes.
Characteristics of Sativa/Indica strains
All the cannabis varieties presented here are Sativa dominant hybrids, mainly Sativa plants with some Indica traits. These may show slight variations from one plant to another, since hybrids are not as stable as purebreds or landraces.
