Alchimia presents the Thai mushroom growing kit (Psilocybe Samuiensis), with 1200ml of high quality mycelium and all the equipment necessary for their development and fruiting.

This variety of Psilocybe was discovered in the 1990s, growing spontaneously in the rice fields of the Gulf of Thailand.

It is characterized by its ease of cultivation , forming mushrooms with long and slender stems, crowned with a small conical cap with a red/orange color , turning gray during drying.

This is a popular mushroom during the full moon party Kho Phangan , one of the most famous beach parties in the world thanks to the magical Thai nights.

For proper development, they require a temperature from 21 to 26ºC (ideally 24ºC), and a relative humidity of 60 to 80% , whether they are grown in the original bag or in a mini greenhouse with the aid of a thermo-hygrometer to monitor the climatic conditions of the crop at each stage.

To achieve the best results, it's vital to keep the temperature and humidity stable throughout the entire cycle, because if we don't, the fruiting can be delayed or even interrupted.

In addition, the first week is especially important , as the cake needs to be properly acclimated and activated to begin production of the first mushroom harvest, which will be ready to cut after about 15 days . After this, and if the conditions of hygiene, temperature and humidity are adequate, the kit will be able to produce several further harvests .

Hello, Alchimia, Thank you for your response. currently there are over 3 dozen grow kit and spore vendors offering various grow kits of what they say are Psilocybe samuiensis, or Psilocybe samuiensis cubensis strains.. Although I have contacted most of them, only 2 other companies besides yours have contacted me and corrected their ads. In the next three issues of my journal on the Pictorial History of psilocybian cultivation, Hopefully before the year is over, I will be posting your site as an honest reliable site for those interested, as a site that is trustworthy and provides good Grow Kits that are capable of producing small crops of mushrooms. I am the person who discovered Psilocybe samuiensis. the species came from Ban Hua Thanon, Koh Samui, Thailand. It is not a Psilocybe cubensis. P. samuiensis is a separate species that is related directly to Psilocybe mexicana. My name is John W. Allen, author of 14 books and more than 3 dozen academic papers and magazine publications on psilocybian mushrooms, You have a nice site but you should not be advertising a P. cubensis samuiensis. That is not a species. Just a Thai cube, and may not have been from my original Thai strains sold throughout the world. Truffle Magic sells grow kits of one of my Thai strains. Thank.
