Ultimate Purple from BC Bud Depot is now available in Alchimia Grow Shop's catalog of regular seeds, a cross that joins purple genetics bred in the USA.

It is a poly hybrid between The Purps, Purple Urkle, Gran Daddy Purple, Grape Ape and SR71 Purple Kush, a mix of purple genetics gathered to create the ultimate purple genetics.

Thus, Ultimate Purple is a fast and vigorous plant that grows columnar, with average internodal distance and flexible side branches that grow as tall as the main stem.

It is perfect for using the SCROG technique , being ripe in just 53 days of flowering thanks to its Indica dominance. Yields are average.

The buds, with pink and violet colours and completely frosted, have a smell that reminds of ripe grapes, sweet and intense. The effect is relaxing and very strong, making Ultimate Purple an epic smoke.

Ultimate Purple from BC Bud Depot features:

  • Genetics: The Purps x Purple Urkle x Grand Daddy Purple x Grape Ape x SR71 Purple Kush
  • Type: Regular seeds
  • Mostly Indica strain
  • Flowering: 7-9 weeks
  • Yield: Average-high

None of the 6 seeds turned purple :( This is not a purple strain and it is false advertising. I maintain very low temp at night and regular strains turns purple but not ultimate purple.. no purple phenotype on 6 seeds.. very bad.

Hi Okday, thanks for letting us know about this. I'm really sorry that they didn't perform as expected, with the genetics they supposedly contain it seems very unlikely that they wouldn't turn purple. And this is especially confusing because you say other varieties turned purple in the same conditions... very strange indeed. I imagine that I'd be mildly displeased with the seeds too, although I tend to value the aroma, flavour and effect of a plant above its colour. Even so, I will write to the seed bank/breeder and see what they have to say about it, you're right, if they make something called Ultimate Purple, then it really should deliver the goods. All the best and happy growing.
