Xtreme Tea from Xtreme Gardening is a product created to greatly increase the microbial life of the substrate, repopulating with micro life those substrates where it is used. Compost tea is one of the best solutions to bring life back to the earth, regardless of the type of substrate used soil or substrates for hydroponics.
Xtreme Tea Brew is made up of two parts that are presented separately to keep the product stable until the moment of use. On one side, we find a bag with the fertilizer for the plants and in the other bag we find the package of food for the microbes . These two products must be mixed with water in a bowl or basin or other location to mix for 24 hours before adding it to the plants.
This two-part kit is designed, on the one hand, to provide fertilizer to the plants and, on the other hand, to increase the microbial life of the substrate, which is responsible for breaking down the plant matter so that it is absorbed by the roots of the plants. By increasing the amount of micro life, the disposition of the fertilizers by the plants is much greater , acting as a natural enhancer, thereby achieving plants with great vigor and abundant flowering .
Tea Brew can be applied in several ways:
Preparation of the Xtreme Tea in maceration 24h - 48h
First of all, make sure the kettle, bucket, or other container is clean.
Fill the kettle or container with fresh water, preferably filtered by osmosis to avoid chlorine and chloramines from tap water at a temperature between 15 and 21ºC .
Place the nylon bag in the water and pour the content of the other bag into the clean water . Use an air pump to oxygenate and a water pump to continuously remove water for 24 to 48 hours.
- For 15 to 20l = 1 bag of 80gr + 1 bag of food activator
- For 55 liters = 3 bags of 80g + 3 food activator bags
Quick Crafting:
In a container of 12 to 20l of water use a preparation bag of 80gr. Squeeze and massage the bag in the water for 90 seconds, helping to filter the material into the water.
Later add 1 package of food and stir well until it is completely dissolved and proceed to irrigation.
How to water with Xtreme Tea from Xtreme Gardening
Once the compost tea has been made, both in the fermented and in the fast mode and without diluting in water , pour the following quantities around the stem according to the size of the pot.
- 12L pot 1 to 2 cups per week
- 20 to 28L pot 3 to 4 cups per week
- 40 to 80L pot 5 to 8 cups per week
- Pot from 100 to 200L from 2 to 4L per week
How to water with Xtreme Tea Brew in hydroponic systems
In hydroponic systems it is generally not recommended to use compost tea for prolonged periods as this can affect the performance of the drippers. It is recommended to use Xtreme Tea for 24 hours before changing the water .
- Use at a ratio of 1:10 or what is the same 4L for every 40L of water.
Containers such as the teapot or tank where the tea is made must be kept clean before using it again. For this you can use an antibacterial soap, bleach with 2% water or hydrogen peroxide . Rinse well after cleaning to avoid residues that could affect the microbial life of the next tea to be made.
