Each vial contains 10ml spores solution, ready to inoculate right away several portions of substrate. Not preparation is need it.
It is essencial to shake the vial vigorously before extracting the spores to mix well the content, then using a wipe moistened with isopropyl alcohol sterilise the syringe and the “septum”.
The Psilocube Fanaticus variety the one used by the person behind the PF TEK cultivation system. For this reason growers have renamed this variety as PF in honour of its creator. This variety is notable for producing thick and fleshy mushrooms. They grow quickly and have a productive harvest.

The “septum” is a membrane that seals the vials and ensures a proper hygiene level during spore extraction. It assures that the rest of the content of the vial is kept away from any possible contamination.
An option is to use the spores to inoculate a Mycomate vial (nutritive solution) thus creating a reserve of mycelium in constant development, which we can use to inoculate many substrates, facilitating the cultivation process.
