Alchimia introduces beige-colored Smart Pot geotextile pots. Particularly popular and highly appreciated by outdoor cannabis growers not only because they are visually more discreet but also because they heat up less than black pots in sunlight, keeping the roots cooler.
These pots have quickly become in demand with growers because of their many qualities: light, easy to store and transport, they also have a very favorable impact on the root system and, thus, the health of our plants.
The ots are made from highly resistant fabric which ensures an optimal and homogeneous oxygenation of the root mass. The roots can easily reach the outside of the pot where the air will play its role in root-pruning, stopping the development of the root length and promoting its branching. This will result in a massive, homogenous root ball, rather than a few long roots wrapped around the sides of a plastic pot.
The roots will grow through the base of the pot, meaning that we can place the plant directly in its final location, in the ground for example, without removing the pot, to minimize the stress of the re-potting.
