Sugar Pop from Philosopher Seeds is the result of a collaboration between Reggae Seeds and the Philosopher's Golo Line breeding team: the White Russian x Kalijah hybrid has been crossed with a selection of Jack The Ripper to create the most Indica strain of our Golo Line collection.
Sugar Pop perfectly combines the qualities of its genetic parentals, with a high production of heavy and resinous buds, a sugary perfume and a stimulating effect that tends to be relaxing as time passes.
Two phenotypes are easily distinguished by the difference in height noticed on the plants. One will be medium sized and more compact than the other.

The Indica genetic influence of Sugar Pop translates into a compact growth, so we recommend to give at least 3 weeks of growth to the plants before flowering them (up to 4 weeks for the smaller phenotype).
During flowering Sugar Pop will create a large main cola, with few lateral branches, being so a good option for growing marijuana in SOG setups. The mostly Indica phenotypes will produce very compact buds, while the plants more influenced by Jack The Ripper will offer a higher resin production while its buds are not so compact, due to its sativa character.
Sugar Pop is resistant to high temperatures, pests and insects, but you must take into account that molds could appear in its large and compact main cola at the end of the flowering period: thus, proper humidity control is essential to have a successful crop. This marijuana plant requires few nutrients and is a good choice for guerilla growing.
Indoors we can harvest the most compact phenotype in 55 days of flowering, whereas larger phenotypes require 7 to 10 more days to reach maturity. The production of buds will be average to high depending on growing systems with dense, compact buds covered with an aromatic layer of excellent resin with large trichomes full of THC.
Sugar Pop presents sugary aromas inherited from the White Russian variety , combined with the earthy scents from Kalijah and the incensed Haze smell from JTR. While the flavor is very present and lasting in the palate, the smell of the dried buds is discrete, being easily transported without generating odors.
Its effect will be initially stimulating before creating a relaxing physical sensation.
