Marijuana and the United States of America have a long history in common: several generations of cannabis consumers of all kinds, or the geographical proximity to cannabis producing countries such as Mexico and other Central and South American countries. In addition to this, a very strict prohibition has gradually evolved towards marijuana legalisation in an increasing number of US states.
Despite this prohibition, cannabis has remained a highly valued product in the US and is very present in the culture, whether it is imported or locally cultivated. Eventually cannabis's legalisation has provided the opportunity for many underground growers to legally offer the result of years of breeding and cultivation work.
The US cannabis scene has been offering remarkable genetics for years, even before a change in legislation. Sour Diesel, Bubba Kush or Chemdog, for example, have been a reference for many growers for several decades.

Many European breeders are working with these US lines in order to fulfil many of their customers' expectations who are very enthusiastic about these new varieties.
To ensure the origin and exclusivity of these varieties, here in this category Alchimia only presents those cannabis seeds sold by American breeders and seed banks, as opposed to varieties with US genetics that are produced by seed banks from other countries.
