Now available in ALchimiaweb, Grape Ape from Apothecary Seeds is a medicinal cannabis strain with purple colours and sweet and fruity taste, awarded first prize in three cannabis cups.
This mostly Indica Mendo Purps x Skunk x Afghani hybrid was created by the founder of the seedbank after defeating a cancer.
It is called like this to honour the "The Grape Ape Show" cartoons and its main character, a big purple monkey.
It grows bushy and compact, with strong branches and average internodal distance (typical Indica structure). Suitable for the SCROG technique , it will develop colas in every branch.
The leafs are broad and purple, a beautiful contrast with the large number of orange pistils that it develops.
It is fully ripe in just 7-8 weeks, yielding around 350-500gr/m2. The effect is relaxing and sedative, being perfect to relieve pains or stress.
The smell and taste are sweet, reminiscent of ripe grapes, with Skunk and Hashish hints.
