This pure Central American variety comes from an indigenous village located in the middle of Guatemala's jungle, and has been used to create the Tikal cannabis hybrid .
Despite this landrace marijuana strain's authenticity, ACE Seeds estimates that it shares some common features with some Mexican lines: a well branched structure, a positive and uplifting effect and a relatively quick flowering time.
Guatemala offers best results in outdoor crops in warm climates, and up to 43ºN latitude if temperatures stay gentle at the season's end. Harvest can be done during November, thanks to its good resistance to molds and its adaptability, that allows it to ripe outdoors even in areas not adapted to cannabis farming .
When grown indoors, this exotic cannabis variety needs strong light intensity to get best results. It is an excellent working base for home breeding, being pure and stable, offering good results when crossed with Indica cannabis strains, as well as Sativas.
