In my opinion willy's is what I called a fruity skink once I was done developing the hybrid. Yes I developed the strain in the late 70s. I have read all the speculation about where willy came from and what strains were used to developed the hybrid. The name came from my good friend who was there at the end of each crossing of strains to help me sample the results. He finished the first two puffs of this hybrid, had an excited look on his face and said:"man wiliam this is some wonderous bud". Thus willy's wonderbud,

Hey Michael, big thanks for your comment. That's awesome, thanks for your contribution to the culture. I wonder, do you still grow the variety yourself these days? And do you have any back-story on how the seeds made the leap from your garden to the wider world? Any idea how Super Sativa Seed Club came by the genetics? I've read that they had it in their catalogue around '87/88. I'd love to hear more!

Bonjour, la plante tardera à réagir à la photopériode et pourra fleurir trop tardivement si on ne la fait pas passer en floraison avec un cycle 12/12.

Tried it in Amsterdam around 20 years ago and yes, it was a really nice weed. Still haven't tried this one though, sooo many thing to try nowadays!

Hi,
I grew Williams Wonder throughout the 90s. Best bud ever in my humble opinion. Is this the real deal? It's so ingrained in my memory that any deviation from the original will be devastating.
