In 2011, TGA's team crossed a Vortex cannabis plant - an excellent Sativa strain winner at the 2010 High Times Medical Cannabis Cup in San Francisco - with a Bloodwreck clone, a highly medicinal variety. In this way, Timewreck was created, a strain of great medicinal value that enhances the flavour of Bloodwreck.
Timewreck plants have a considerable stretch during the pre-flowering stage, growing to average-high heights. Subcool recommends pruning the plants and staking them so they form 4 main colas. Timewreck is an easy to grow cannabis strain, resistant to pests and diseases , which also offers high yields of top quality resinous buds.
The smell of ripe fruits of the Vortex perfectly combines with the sandalwood and lemony notes of the Bloodwreck, creating new and fruity hints that remind of kiwis and pears. Due to its high THC content, Timewreck is not recommended for novice smokers; its effect is really intense, body relaxing, perfect to combat stress and sleep disorders. The cannabinoids analysis have shown incredible results, with 26'7 THC contents with relatively high levels of other interesting cannabinoids (CBG, CBC,...)
Although Dioxide, creator of the strain, said that the name was temporary, the strain was finally called Timewreck since several clones had already been shared during the Hempstalk festival in Oregon.
