Original Grandaddy Purple
The Original Grandaddy Purple, created by breeder Ken Estes in 2003 in the San Francisco Bay Area, has become a classic in american dispensaries as one of the best purple Indicas available on the market.
Grandaddy Purple (GDP) is a cross between the renowned californian Purple Urkle cut - that transmits its beautiful colours and fruity flavours - and the legendary Big Bud strain , which improves yields and bud density.
Plants usually develop purple tones from the 6th week into flowering unless temperatures are too high. Once harvested, buds are similar to precious stones coated with resin glands . The smell and taste of Original Grandaddy Purple remind of ripe grapes and wild berries.
Ken Estes states that one of the key factors when growing the GDP is proper ventilation. Pruning the lower parts of the plants is advised for better air circulation and light use.
The Original Grandaddy Purple induces a very strong effect, relaxing our body while stimulating our mind.
This strain is also known as The Nighttime Strain since it efficiently helps to treat sleep disorders like insomnia. It is also suitable to combat pains, stress, muscle spasms and eating disorders.
Original Grandaddy Purple features:
- Genetics: Purple Urkle x Big Bud
- Mostly Indica hybrid
- Indoor flowering: 8-10 weeks
- Outdoor harvest: October
- Yield: Average

No they're not, they're regular seeds. If you're interested in feminised seeds of OGP, you can check Grandaddy Confidential from Pheno Finder Seeds (it's a hybrid though).

Actually, there's no other shipping option than "discreet packaging" for seed orders to Turkey, so no problem at all.
