Flower Anti mealybugs (cochineal) and white fly, effective as a preventive and as a treatment
This product has been designed as a preventive, offering its maximum effectiveness to prevent these pests appearing in our cultivation. It acts avoiding the egg hatching and the adult establishment by attacking the pest at various times in its life cycle. It is also effective as a treatment.
In order to save us problems, it is ideal to use the Flower Admiral to avoid the appearance of the white fly or mealybugs, especially if we live in hot areas or if we cultivate outdoors or in guerrilla. We can use this product as treatment in case our plants have been infected by the fly or mealybugs to eradicate them.
The active principle is the Piriproxifen in a 10% concentration. It is a juvenile hormone that acts by ingestion and by contact, interfering the fly and cochineal development, especially in their larval stage.
Flower Admiral anti mealybugs and white fly, spray 1ml/l dosage
It is applied by spraying, with a 1ml/l dosage wetting well both the leaves and the stems. It is recommended to apply the product switching off the indoor lighting system or at dusk, in order to maximize its effect. It is not a toxic product for bees and it is respectful with the environment.
It is important to use the product without wetting the buds, so that the active principle does not impregnate the bud tissues which could affect its flavours. On the other hand, it can be only used during the vegetative development stage.
It acts as a "population disruptor" and not as a "demolition insecticide". It eliminates the pest progressively, not at once but acting slowly but effectively.
