Created by Sensi Seeds more than 20 years ago in honour of one of the most influential American cannabis activists of recent decades: Jack Herer, this variety has been awarded countless times in different Cannabis Cups and competitions worldwide.

This variety has become so widely revered for its many remarkable qualities, most notably in terms of its effect and taste, with most plants offering flowers with organoleptic qualities reminiscent of Haze, with spicy and acrid flavours, but it is also possible to enjoy phenotypes with a more earthy and fruity background that recalls Afghani and Skunk cultivars. The effect is powerful and well-balanced between Sativa and Indica.

When consumed, Jack Herer offers a clear and spiritually motivating high, balanced with a powerful physically soothing sensation, a body high that encourages enjoyable moments of quality relaxation time among friends.

Cultivating the Jack Herer, we will see different phenotypes, the most common of which is a large-growing and vigorous specimen which can easily double or triple their size during flowering. The mature buds of these plants will be ready for harvest after 10 weeks of flowering.

Roughly a quarter of the plants will offer a more Indica-leaning structure, with a more compact development, and a faster flowering of 8 to 9 weeks. In all cases the heads develop a large number of calyxes which will be caked in an impressive layer of aromatic resin heads.

During the flowering period, the smell of the flowers is not too strong, making discreet cultivation possible both indoors and outdoors. In contrast, the dried and cured flowers emit a powerful and intoxicating odour that will definitely not go unnoticed!

Due to its high concentration of cannabinoids, in particular THC, this strain is highly suitable for certain medical uses. Patients searching for high doses of CBD and varieties with no psychoactive effect however, should look elsewhere.
