It is one of the most consumed and most popular genetics since the first cannabis hybrids were introduced to the market. It offers one of the most interesting genetic richness. Coming directly from the 70's, developed by the famous Sam The Skunkman, it is a vigorous plant with a fast flowering, a great production and a very powerful aroma.
Another example is Northern Light, which was also developed in the 70s on an island near Seattle. It arrived in Europe in the form of cuttings thanks to Nevil Schoenmakers and shortly afterwards to the grow tents of the first indoor cultivators in Europe. It is a 100% Indica genetics, specially designed for indoor cultivation. It is a very resinous plant that offers generous hashish extractions, with a physical and relaxing effect.
Certainly, a good definition of this category is offered by the famous Haze and its different hybrids, undoubtedly a legendary strain with 100% Sativa genetics. This variety comes from crosses between landraces from Mexico, Colombia, India and Thailand. Like the Skunk, it offers great variations between the different specimens, which allow obtaining strains of varied characteristics. We can highlight the famous Purple Haze among the most popular variations. Haze offers spicy aromas with wood and incense flavours, with a very clear and energetic psychedelic effect.
