Master Kush x Skunk from Mr. Nice Seeds is a regular marijuana strain result of crossing two cannabis plants that have set trends in the international cannabis market for the last 30 years. They have won distinguished awards that endorse them as great marijuana varieties.
Nevil and Shantibaba have created a hybrid containing mainly Afghan genetics from Master Kush - a pure indica - crossing it with Skunk # 1 , which has in turn genes from Afghanistan, Colombia and Mexico.
Its growth is like an indica plant, medium, compact, well branched and with the sativa vigour from Skunk # 1. Its leafs are large and wide, dark green.
Its flowering period is very fast, only 7 weeks for the faster phenotype and 8-9 weeks for the slower one, which also has more sativa traits.
The buds are compact, hard and full of resin, with a flavor similar to the original Master Kush, earthy and pungent with incensed haze hints, winner of 1994 HTCC. The production is high, abundant and resistant to fungi. Indoors, it is an easy to grow strain, fast and productive, since in about 7 to 8-9 weeks (depending on phenotypes) it may yield from 500 to 600 gr/m2 with a 600w HPS light.
Outdoors, it is ready to be harvested in late September / early October in the northern hemisphere and in the end of March / early April in the southern hemisphere, with a production of about 450 grams or more per plant, depending on the final size of the plant.
It is recommended to use stakes for fixing Master Kush x Skunk to prevent branches from breaking under the weight of their buds at the end of flowering. It is well suited for all farming systems: soil, hydro, coco or aero.
