Moroccan Beldia Kif - Legendary fast-flowering Sativa hash plant
In the Rif area of Morocco, this variety is traditionally sown in early Spring to initiate flowering in June for a harvest as early as August. It is then dried in the sun and subsequently beaten over screens and then pressed to produce the hashish that this country is so famous for.
Traditionally planted very close together and in great numbers on a field scale, Morocco Beldia Kif plants start out with wide leaves but develop a more typical Sativa appearance with time. They are easy to grow, requiring very little care and low doses of nutrients, being well adapted to the poor soils and dry conditions of this region, as well as being highly resistant to pests and diseases.
Morocco Beldia Kif - Hash plant genetics for hot, dry climates
Morocco Beldia Kif is mainly aimed at outdoor growers in hot, dry areas. Plants can show some semi-autoflowering characteristics, so it is recommended to start them in large pots to ensure they grow to a good size before reaching he flowering phase.
Although this variety can be easily grown indoors, it has not yet been fully adapted to the stable photoperiods and artificial lighting, which make for quite different growing conditions to its natural setting. To avoid stressing plants, it's recommended not to feed or irrigate plants in excess. For best results in all growing situations, ACE Seeds recommends low to moderate nutrient levels throughout the plants' entire life cycle.
Despite its semi-autoflowering characteristics, mother plants of Morocco Beldia Kif can be kept, but it will be necessary to keep them under a long vegetative photoperiod of at least 20h light and 4h darkness, as well as using larger containers to ensure they don't get root bound and begin to flower in the mother room.
