The rotary evaporator separates low boiling solvents, such as alcohol or butane among others from a denser substance such as BHO extractions, leaving a clean extraction 100% solvent free.
Mr. Hide Extracts rotary evaporator has a flask with a 2L evaporation capacity. The evaporator has a heating container to heat the distilled water designed for vertical glassware and with temperature control. In addition, the rotary system incorporates an electrically operated lowering and swivelling flask while allowing a fast and accurate heating.
It has a coil condenser designed to have a larger surface area, thus being more efficient than conventional coils. The rotor contains an anti-heating safety system to control the distilled water heater container and also has two fuses to prevent possible equipment damage.
To rotary evaporator has a helical gear that provides a constant and adjustable rotation from 5 to 200rpm. The rotation is essential to evaporate the extraction solvents. During this rotational evaporation process, a thin liquid film is created in the flask, which when heated it evaporates. The temperature can be adjusted as needed, increasing or decreasing it, and adjusting the rpm required for a faster or slower rotation.
The distilled water heating container can be regulated with PID temperature control with a minimum ambient temperature range and a maximum of 200ºC, in 0.1ºC increments. It is more than enough to evaporate different solvents leaving the extraction extremely clean while the flavours and cannabinoids remain intact.
Once the purging process is completed, you can have excellent quality extractions ready to be consumed with the typical dabs, using BHO vaporisers or the new generation e-nail such as the Puffco Peak.
