Changing Humidifier membrane

Hi everybody, this is the replacement membrane for the 6l humidifier. That I’m going to show you how to change

We’ll need a phillips screwdriver, and above all having the power cord unplugged

Let’s remove the tank from the top, and take the bottom part.

You’ll see that it has 4 screws, two on each side, those there

We’ll keep unscrewing until whe hear a “clack” sound, showing that the screw is already out

We remove the cover

We have the central lid that we need to remove too, so we can find this four screws and the electric cables

Let’s start with the screws

We need to remove those four

And now, it’s important, they are, this four, the red and black, the black… those other white four, and two more white

From here we lift that piece

We already have it out and we are going to place  the new one

You’ll notice that it’s a little hard, you’ll have to press to put it in place correctly, it’s a bit hard

Let’s go screwing

…The black, the four whites and the two more whites

Once we have settled the piece, be careful with the wire order

If in the future it stops working, there is the possibility that the problem cames from the fuse, and changing it will solve the problem

So when we got it fixed, we put the security plate back

We also place well te power cord, and set the bottom lid, we screw again, and thats all

We keep screwing

And once we get it, we mount the tank back and we’re ready to go to our grow room and use it
