Colombia Red Spot is a regular strain from Cannabiogen, from a classic line with a high reputation and history, which has been obtained across different phenotypes of this native variety, selected in the north central area of the country.
This process has achieved a final genetic that is a blend of the best traits from the diverse characters of this strain, fast growing and vigorous, with a flowering period which stretches from 16 to 22 weeks.
Its development will be wild, lean and typical of a sativa , with long internodes and flexible branches and leaves of thin leaflets, which may incorporate greens and purples.
It must be said that part of the breeding effort has focused on getting a stable sexual level, trying to control the unruly impulses of this landrace genetics, but by their nature, it's possibe that with tthis first version it may present some other intersex individual.
It is aromatically complex with many undertones (lime, spices, incensed, wood ...), very tasty and full, making it stand out above its yield, which is average.
Its effect is exhilarating, psychedelic, very special and characteristic of the Colombian landraces, also highlighted by its covering of red hair on its buds at the end of ripening, which combined with its bright trichomes give it a meteoric appearance.

Charles Duncan 18-02-2021 Look seeds are legal in this country if they weren't we wouldn't be able to get them at all !
Alchimia Grow Shop 19-02-2021
Hi Charles, thanks for your comment. The reason is that cannabis is still not legal at a Federal level in the USA, and because the US Customs & Border Service is a federal agency, as well as the USPS being a branch of Federal government, it's just not viable for us to send seeds to the states. Sorry for any inconvenience, best wishes and happy growing.
Little Joe 29-05-2020 I am trying to understand: I know you say you do not ship to U.S.; but what is the reason? Is it legality? That cannot be the case, because it is legal to grow, to own and to use, in California, Colorado, Illinois and a number of other states. So, please, what is the reason that you don't ship to U.S.? Thank you.
Alchimia Grow Shop 30-05-2020 Hi Little Joe, thanks for your comment, It's because cannabis is still federally illegal, and the US Postal Service, as well as US Customs are both federal agencies and as such won't carry seeds or allow them into the country. Too many packages are either opened and confiscated upon entry into the states to make it worthwhile. We are working on a method to make US shipping possible, but until then I'm afraid we're in the same situation. I hope that explains it. Best wishes and happy growing!
Little Joe 29-05-2020 At least you do ship to Canada - one of the "favorite neighbors" of the U.S. Also, I do have some original strain of 1970's Colombian Gold seeds that I held onto; due to their strength, flavor, etc. I did not hold onto any of the Red Bud seeds, unfortunately; but I think we should strive for a resurgence of both Gold and Red Bud!
Alchimia Grow Shop 02-06-2020 Hey Little Joe, yes attitudes towards cannabis are definitely a bit more relaxed over your northern border! Those Colombian Gold seeds ought to be great, you should get them germinated before they get too old to be viable, it'd be a real shame to lose those genetic treasures. As far as the Colombian Red goes, there aren't many options on the market at the moment, now that the Cannabiogen version is no longer available I guess the nearest thing would be Panama from ACE Seeds, which has a beautiful and frequently-occurring red phenotype, essentially the same as Colombian Red, being neighbouring countries and remembering that cannabis genetics don't recognise international borders! All the best and happy growing!

JDLite 08-05-2015 What happen to some of those Old-School genes of this plant?? I kept Very powerful ,very strong, pin joint action stuff of this herb...Which kept you totally stoned for a few hours...This one is only about 15% THC, the old-school kept you on the floor with the "giggles" all though-out the high:} lol....
Alchimia Grow Shop 11-05-2015
Hi DLite,
Unless you breed with clones, keeping the genetics intact generation after generation is really hard, if not impossible. Plants are living beings which adapt to the environment, thus evolving over time.
Either way, I'm sure you can find something interesting for you if you make a selection of these seeds, Cannabiogen is known for breeding pure strains with excellent results.
Thanks for your comment,
Best vibes!
reBoMan 20-11-2014 I wanted to know if your Colombian Red strain was like the type we use to get in socal in around 1976-77 real 'reddish' buds ,lots of blk. seeds cedar type smell very stoney w/ red eye. thanks reboman
Alchimia Grow Shop 20-11-2014
Hi reBoMan,
I don't know if it is exactly the same Colombian Red Point you had in socal, but what's sure is that these seeds come from this landrace strain. CBG's work has always been honest and fruitful.
These ones would be my first option in case of growing the Red Point.
Best vibes!
