Ace Seeds presents Malawi x PCK, an F1 hybrid combining two high-quality landraces and giving vigorous and productive plants, with colourful flowers and a fruity, oily scent. Now available in the AlchimiaWeb regular seed catalogue.

Malawi x PCK, F1 Sativa Indica hybrid

Created using different parents to the Violeta strain (another hybrid combining Malawi and Pakistan Chitral Kush), Malawi x PCK gives taller, more slender and productive plants, with a slightly more Sativa character, being made up of 60% Sativa and 40% Indica genetics.

This classic F1 hybrid between stabilised parents has resulted in a vigorous and versatile plant, resistant to heat as well as cold, and giving great results in outdoor cannabis cultivation up to 45º latitude.

Indoors, she can be grown in Sea Of Green, favouring her main head, but also in SCROG, reacting very well to apical pruning, forming long, well-developed branches.

The flowering stage of Malawi x PCK last from 9 to 11 weeks in indoor cannabis cultivation, and will be ready for a late October harvest outdoors, with very heavy and generous production.

Malawi x PCK, a fruity chewing gum flavour and a potent high

The Malawi x PCK crop is made up of large clusters of fleshy flowers with well-shaped and swollen calyxes, all coated with a generous layer of resin. There are two main phenotypes, one green and the other purple, each presenting unique nuances in their aromas.

The terpene profile is rich and complex, composed of terpinolene (40%), alpha pinene (18%), beta myrcene (11.5%), beta pinene (11%) and limonene (9%), with traces of trans-ocimene (4%), delta 3 carene, alpha terpinene, phellandrene, fenchol, borneol, terpineol, camphene, camphor, eucalyptol, p cymene and phytol. Its sesquiterpenes are dominated by beta-caryophyllene (2/3), supplemented by alpha-humelene and guaiol, with traces of caryophyllene oxide.

This translates to a taste of red berries and fermented lemon chewing gum in the colourful phenotype, while the green phenotype gives off sweeter notes of honey and caramel.

The effect of Malawi x PCK is balanced, invigorating and introspective, for an intense and long-lasting high, a journey taking up to 4 hours.
