Malawi x PCK - African and Asian landrace Sativa genetics
The Malawi strain used in this cross is an African landrace variety of excellent quality, considered to be the strongest pure Sativa on the market, it is famous for its intensely psychedelic effect and high production of resinous buds with large trichomes. These extreme characteristics have made it one of the most consistently popular varieties in this seed bank's catalogue.
On the other hand, Pakistan Chitral Kush is a compact and colourful Indica variety from the mountains of Pakistan and is traditionally used for hashish production. Highly resistant to pests and mould, as well as withstanding extremes of temperature and high winds, PCK is one of the toughest yet most beautiful landraces, with colours ranging from green to pink/red to a purple so dark that they are appear black.
Malawi x PCK - Psychedelic Sativa genetics crossed with an Indica hash plant
This spectacular F1 feminised hybrid is one of the most complex and rewarding varieties in the ACE seeds catalogue, combining the finest and strongest pure African Sativa landrace with a legendary Indica hash plant variety from the slopes of the Himalayas.
This cross shares very similar genetics to its highly popular "little sister" Violeta strain, as well as several characteristics, such as dense flowers and a rich, fruity terpene profile. However, Malawi x PCK uses a different Malawi mother plant than Violeta and as a result shows more Sativa influence, growing bigger in size with heavier yields and a more potent effect with just 1-2 weeks more flowering time.
Malawi x PCK - Vigour, power, flavour and resistance
Malawi x PCK is vigorous, very resistant to pests and pathogens, and is highly adaptable, making it relatively easy to grow indoors or outdoors. It's vigour means it is well suited to either SOG or SCROG cultivation styles, as it has a large main cola yet also reacts well to pruning and training techniques with strong branching. ACE Seeds recommend moderate to high nutrient levels throughout the entire life cycle of the plant.
Cultivated indoors, it will be ready to harvest after 9-11 weeks of flowering, rewarding the grower with high yields of trichome-coated colas. Outdoor-grown plants can be harvested in mid-October and, due to the large size attained outdoors, will give spectacular yields of the highest quality sun grown buds.
The flavours and aromas of Malawi x PCK are rich and exotic, from the oily, black currant and forest fruit bubblegum of the purple phenotype to the more sweet and caramelised notes of the less-common green pheno, you won't be disappointed with the intensity of the terpene profiles which will leave your mouth watering!
