Power Plant Regular by Dutch Passion is one of the classic sativas of the Dutch scene, available in regular photoperiod seeds. With a sativa-dominant genotype and South African origin, it stands out for its woody, spicy and floral aroma, a THC content of 15-20% according to the breeder and a markedly cerebral effect. Ideal for growers looking for a productive, stable and easy-to-grow sativa.

Genetics: unhybridized South African sativa

Dutch Passion developed it in 1997 from a selection of South African landraces. The line has only been worked through inbreeding and backcrossing, never hybridized, hence its great uniformity. Sources place it at around 80% sativa, with a small indica component that compacts the bud and shortens flowering. The plant is robust, highly branched with short internodes, long colas and thin leaves.

In cultivation: easy and XXL production

Indoors it reaches 75-125 cm with a 200-300% stretch, so it works very well in SCROG and SOG, even at 12/12 from seed. It flowers in 8-9 weeks (some phenotypes reach 10-11) and yields 500-600 g/m², up to 600-750 g/m² in expert hands. Outdoors it prefers a warm, dry Mediterranean-type climate, tolerates temperature and humidity fluctuations well, and is harvested around October, potentially exceeding one kilo per plant. It accepts supercropping and bending; suitable for beginners.

Flavor and effect: wood, spices and cerebral high

On the nose it displays woody, spicy and earthy notes over a floral background, with hints of lily and vanilla and a penetrating character. On the palate it maintains that spicy profile with a sweet aftertaste and very smooth smoke. The effect comes on quickly: euphoric, energizing and creative, with marked appetite, and evolves towards a more relaxed sensation. A profile consistent with its 15-20% THC.
