Alchimia is delighted to present Skunk 1 by Nirvana Seeds, a legendary Old School marijuana plant developed in the 70's by Sam Skunkman. It is a cross between landrace strains originally from Afghanistan, Colombia and Mexico. It reached Europe in the 80's and was one of the first strains one could find in many cannabis gardens. From here, several high quality phenotypes emerged, such as Cheese.

Skunk 1 shows a vigorous growth both indoors and outdoors. It develops with a ramified structure that makes it easy to cultivate using SCROG method, but also in SOG with low pruning and obtaining one-bud flowers. Outdoors it is a large plant with abundant production, as long as it is provided with good growing conditions. It is a variety suitable for both beginners and expert growers, always surprising them during its cultivation.

Skunk 1 has a relatively short flowering period, with only 8-9 weeks of flowering and a yield of up to 400-500g per m2. It produces thick and heavy buds covered in a dense resin layer. Outdoors it offers a yield that can exceed 1000g per plant.

This variety is optimal for extractions offering a good quality return to satisfy especially hash lovers. It is a plant with good resistance to pests and fungi, making it ideal for cultivation in somewhat hostile environments. Outdoors the harvest is ready in October.
