Critical Mass has gained almost legendary status in Spain, where in the early 2000's in the Basque city of Bilbao the famous Critical Bilbo clone was selected, going on to win countless prizes and continuing to dominate the Spanish cannabis scene to this day. Mr Nice Seed Bank present here the original genetics of this multi award-winning variety, brought to you by it's creator Shantibaba.
Possibly the heaviest cropping hybrid in commercial production, Critical Mass is the improved version of the massive producer and old grower's favorite Big Bud. She consistently gives huge yields of seriously sticky and stinky buds - big enough to snap the branches if they aren't supported - so be warned!
The result of a cross between an original Skunk #1 and an extremely vigorous Afghan, Critical Mass has a powerful and unmistakeable sweet fragrant citrus taste, surprisingly penetrating floral aroma and a potent cerebral high which gives way to a relaxing and narcotic body effect.
Critical Mass is suitable for growing indoors, outdoors or in greenhouses, she grows easily and quickly and is famous for her rapid flowering under lights and early finish out in the sunshine, making her a great choice of genetics for guerilla growers and beginners.
One word of caution, the colas produced by Critical Mass can grow so large and dense that mould can become a real problem in late flower, especially when growing in humid conditions or in a poorly ventilated room.
Be on the alert for any signs of fungal attack, we don't recommend that you wait too long to harvest your precious flowers, and make sure you're prepared to deal with a ridiculous amount of buds!
For medical users seeking the therapeutical effects of the cannabinoid CBD (Cannabidiol), CBD Crew have created CBD Critical Mass, a feminised version using these original genetics but bred to offer a THC/CBD ratio between 1:1 and 1:2.
