Hi i'm pretty new at cannabis growing and i was wondering what larf is? i'd heard the terms 'pruning larf' and de-larfing but never managed to find out what it is, can you help me on this plz? Thanks

Hi hotyogazen, it is a "slang" term in Cannabis circles that refers to less mature buds placed on lower branches under the canopy, smaller and fluffy/not so dense comparing to Colas on top of the plants, generally due to a lack of light penetration or the shadow of a bigger bud. These type of buds (which are more often leafy than tight) don't reach their full potential, depending on their quality it can be pruned (=delarfing) in order to not suck energy that can be directed towards the main Colas, or kept and harvested to make Hash, smaller "one person bong hits", edibles, and so on ;-) Hope that helps !
