Alchimia presents Kokopelli San Juan Pueblo tobacco seeds, an early compact and hardy tobacco variety originally from Southwestern US.

San Juan Pueblo tobacco seeds can be sown in early spring in trays, and then transplanted into pots once the seedlings have formed a few leaves. The tobacco plants are then transplanted into open ground once the risk of frost has passed.

San Juan Pueblo tobacco plants usually reach up to 60-80cm. They mature quickly, forming attractive heart-shaped leaves ready to harvest from June to September.

For an optimal cultivation, the gardener should favour a rich, humus-rich soil, a sunny area and a moderate water supply.
