The seeds were collected by this seedbank in Chefchaouen region, and reproduced during 4 generations. It is a plant very resistant to drought and suitable for arid soils. Moroccan Beldia is an autochthonous cannabis genetics from Morocco, a landrace plant. Khalifa Genetics team collected seeds a few years ago in the mountainous region in Chefchaouen, where to this day farmers still grow this variety, so it still maintains its purity.
Moroccan Beldia seeds offered by Khalifa Genetics are a fourth generation work by open pollination to reduce hermaphrodite and weak specimens, while maintaining genetic diversity.

Moroccan Beldia landrace is about 800 years old and is gradually disappearing from the Rif due to modern hybrids. The farmers have been using it to elaborate hashish since the 1960s. This hash is known as blond or Old School chocolate.

Moroccan Beldia is an easy plant to grow both indoors and outdoors. It is a strong plant that can tolerate lack of water and high temperatures very well. It is possibly one of the fastest Sativas, so outdoors it develops all its splendour.

Moroccan Beldia plants are vigorous and develop a great secondary ramification. It is very suitable for SOG method cultivation. Indoors it is ready to harvest after about 7-9 weeks of flowering. Outdoors it is ready to harvest from early August to late September, as it is a semi auto-flowering plant. It is recommended to provide a quality substrate and pruning to improve its growth stage even though it is a low maintenance strain.
