To create this marijuana strain, DNA Genetics crossed the Exodus UK Cheese elite clone (a unique Skunk #1 selection with intense and complex taste) with one of the most appreciated sativa genetics from DNA's collection: Chocolope. The resulting hybrid, named Chocolate Fondue, combines Cheese's strong smell and taste with the sweet and earthy bouquet of Chocolope, getting a new combination of terpenes for a first quality smoke.
Thanks to the vegetative vigor of Chocolope genetics (Chocolate Thaï x Cannalope Haze), these plants grow quickly and do not need a long vegetative period to get high yields: DNA Genetics estimates Chocolate Fondue's yield to be around 500 and 600 gr/m2. Despite its sativa background, and thanks to the skunky influence from the U.K. Cheese, Chocolate Fondue does not need more than 8 to 9 flowering weeks before being ready to harvest. Its effect is balanced, body relaxing and mentaly active, without being too much intense.
