Jiffy moisturizable coco coir block is ideal for the plant first few weeks development recommended for those growers who cultivate in coconut substrate.

The block has dimensions of 8cm x 8cm x 6.5cm, it is large enough for the initial plant development stage without the need to transplant it to a small pot. Just place the germinated seed inside the Jiffy coco coir block and the plant will start growing normally.

Once the plant has grown enough in the block, it can be transplanted directly into the definitive pot, saving time and investment since it is only necessary to transplant the plant once instead of twice.

The thick coconut fibres facilitate the drainage of the nutrient solution, thus avoiding water stagnation in the substrate which could cause root rot.

In addition, it facilitates an explosive roots development thanks to its sponginess and porous granulometry, emphasising the trichoderma actions that contains the coconut, which protects the roots and facilitates the food absorption in a faster and more effective way.
